The only American song remake in the album is the studio recording of Anita Bryant-original "Paper Roses" which Magdangal sung on a drama anthology television program, Maalaala Mo Kaya. Written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey , [ 1 ] its best-known version was recorded by American actor and singer John Travolta and British-Australian singer, songwriter and actress Olivia Newton-John for the 1978 big-screen adaptation of the musical, and released as a single that same year.
The EP includes nine songs, including the six found on the original release, and three new songs, including the single, "Dance the Night Away", "Chillax" and "Shot Thru the Heart", which was written by Twice's Japanese members Momo, Sana and Mina.
The song peaked at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 as well as #7 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in 1987 and #4 on the Radio & Records CHR/Pop Airplay chart.
