Bismarck Public Schools (BPS) is a system of publicly funded K-12 schools in Bismarck, North Dakota. There are eighteen elementary schools, three middle schools, and three high schools. There are eighteen elementary schools, three middle schools, and three high schools.
In the 1998-1999 school year, the state had 221 school districts with 113,300 students. In January 2007, the number of school districts had declined to 195, and these districts had a total of 95,600 students.
The Fargo Public Schools is governed by a nine-member Board of Education, whose members may serve an unlimited number of four-year terms. Board members oversee the district's annual operating budget, which is $134 million during the 2013–14 school year. Currently, the school district's operating levy is 139 mills.
The principal is Steve Madler. The school colors are red, white, and blue. Century's mascot is the Patriot. The school was built on reclaimed land from Bismarck's landfill in 1976 and was renovated and expanded in 1998. It is one of three public high schools in the city of Bismarck. Century serves the northwest region of the city.

Legacy High School was established with the passage of a $55 million bond for the school's construction in 2012.
