Lincoln County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.As of the 2020 census, the population was 28,415. [1] Its county seat is Merrill. [2] The county was created in 1875 [3] and named after President Abraham Lincoln. [4]

Rock Falls is in central Lincoln County, 11 miles (18 km) north Merrill, the county seat, and 12 miles (19 km) south of Tomahawk. U.S. Route 51 crosses part of the eastern side of the town, and Wisconsin Highway 107 crosses the entire town from south to north, running up the east side of the Wisconsin River.
