Solar System space probes operational as of November 2024. This is a list of active space probes which have escaped Earth orbit. It includes lunar space probes, but does not include space probes orbiting at the Sun–Earth Lagrangian points (for these, see List of objects at Lagrangian points).
Table Mountain Observatory (TMO) is an astronomical observation facility operated by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (California Institute of Technology). It is located in Big Pines, California, in the Angeles National Forest near Wrightwood, north-northeast of Los Angeles, California. [1] [2] TMO is part of JPL's Table Mountain Facility (TMF).

The exoplanets were found using a statistical technique called "verification by multiplicity". 95% of the discovered exoplanets were smaller than Neptune and four, including Kepler-296f, were less than 2 1/2 the size of Earth and were in habitable zones where surface temperatures are suitable for liquid water.
NASA's tracker map allows you to see where the solar eclipse is at this moment. Tap "LIVE" when the map loads up to see exactly where the eclipse is in real time. NASA is tracking the location of ...
Webb has a 6.5 m (21 ft)-diameter gold-coated beryllium primary mirror made up of 18 separate hexagonal mirrors. The mirror has a polished area of 26.3 m 2 (283 sq ft), of which 0.9 m 2 (9.7 sq ft) is obscured by the secondary support struts, [16] giving a total collecting area of 25.4 m 2 (273 sq ft).
Satellites in geostationary orbit. From the list in the first section, these are the closest known asteroids per year that approach Earth within one lunar distance.More than one asteroid per year may be listed if its geocentric distance [note 1] is within a tenth of the lunar distance, or 0.10 LD.
Two new wolf packs spotted in Northern California reveal a continued resurgence of the species, a century after they disappeared from the Golden State. Wildlife officials confirmed the existence ...
