Henry County Assessor's Office. General Information. OWNERSHIP - The Assessors Office maintains ownership records of all real property in the county for tax purposes. When a deed is recorded in the Clerk of Superior Court office, the recording information is forwarded to the Assessors Office so the proper owner is sent tax information.
