Texas. Amazon has free return shipping for prime members, so I ordered the 42" per advice that the 30" was too short. Its the tallest regular gate one I could find. Trying to avoid a door one, as I like the idea of just picking up a cat and dropping him or her over the gate, get the next, and voila.
I know there is already at least one thread on here about cat gates, but I am looking for one that is a tension mount gate (so I don't have to put holes in the walls) that has a door that opens and shuts. All the one's that I've seen online are too wide between the bars, and I know my one cat...

(It has an entryway but no door.) I was thinking something like this, that has vertical bars so she can't climb it.
It’s been 4 months and I’m at the end of my rope. But I can’t bear giving either cat up. I read the article about introducing cats, saw some new ideas and will start over with the socks. We also purchased a tall cat gate (50+ inches high because JJ is a jumper) that we can use for step 2. My questions are: 1.
22. Location. Chicago, IL. I use a Lupine H-style harness for some of my cats, including my 15b pound kitty. Lupine makes both dog and cat harnesses, they have a cat harness that fits up to a 20" chest size. This style have been the most secure with my cats, as long as they're tightened properly.
