The Findlay Oilers are the athletic teams that represent the University of Findlay, located in Findlay, Ohio, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sporting competitions. The Oilers currently compete as members of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Oilers were a member of the GLIAC since 1997, when they switched from the NAIA to the NCAA.
The color palette of the turf was a nod toward Findlay High School compared to the stadium's secondary tenant, the University of Findlay. A block 'F' at the fifty-yard line, in shaded white with a yellow and blue outline sat at the midpoint of the surface. The 1949 Findlay Oilers football team represented Findlay College—now known as the University of Findlay—as a member of the Mid-Ohio League during the 1949 college football season.
