The Breakthrough is a 2025 Swedish crime drama television series directed by Lisa Siwe and produced by FLX. It is an adaptation by Oskar Söderlund of a novel by journalist Anna Bodin and the genealogist Peter Sjölund which was a fictionalised account of a true life crime from 2004. It became available on Netflix from 7 January 2025.
