Air Line State Park Trail is a rail trail and linear state park located in Connecticut.The trail is divided into sections designated South (a 25-mile trail from East Hampton to Windham), North (a 21-mile trail from Windham to Putnam) a piece of the East Coast Greenway, and the Thompson addition (a 6.6-mile trail from Thompson to the Massachusetts state line). [1]
This is a list of bridges and other crossings of the Connecticut River from its mouth at Long Island Sound upstream to its source at the Connecticut Lakes. The list includes current road and rail crossings, as well as ferries carrying a state highway across the river. Some pedestrian bridges and abandoned bridges are also listed.

The Farmington Valley Trails Council was founded in 1992 to preserve the canal by converting it into a park. [9] Part of the Farmington Canal State Park trail was dedicated May 22, 1994. [9] Located on North Brooksvale road is Lock 12 Historical Park, a restored canal lock and museum dubbed the "best-preserved relic of Connecticut's canal era."

Railroad Grade Road, a five-mile long paved road/trail; a former section of the old East Tennessee and Western North Carolina line west of Roan Mountain Shelby Farms Greenline , a 6.6 mile trail using the previous CSX Rail right-of-way in Shelby County ; an additional 7 miles are planned.
As of June 2020, the southwest 5.1-mile (8.2 km) portion of the trail from Marlborough to Hudson and the northeast 3.4-mile (5.5 km) portion running from the South Acton MBTA station to the Maynard–Stow border are completed.
