John Samuel Blunt (March 17, 1798 - August 1835) was a 19th-century American-born ornamental painter, calligrapher and craftsman. Blunt is best known for his seascapes and work in portraiture.

Harbour or Seascape (Spanish - Marina) is a small 1881 oil-on-canvas painting by the Spanish artist Joaquín Sorolla. He painted it early in his career. He painted it early in his career. It is now in the Sorolla Museum in Madrid.
During this period he painted a wide array of seascapes such as The Gulf Stream (1899), Moonlight – Wood's Island Light (1886), Northeaster and Cannon Rock (both 1895) and Early Morning After a Storm at Sea (1902). Many of his paintings depict the battlefront of the sea and the shore, and the waves crashing onto the rocky shore.
