These client download links do not work, and keep coming back saying Failed, at least on my laptop they do??I do not care about foreign languages, and just want the game clients, as Blizzard has decided, in their infinite quest for more cash, to make the clients provided on your Battle.net account not work, unless you buy Reforged, which I do not want to do.
what do you mean ? just install the frozen throne client ver 1.30 into a c:\warcraft3 directory, on your hard drive, with your old cd key, and refuse the prompt for upgrading. You will not be able to play multiplayer on bnet or w3champions server, but thats all.
Do not listen to people who say it isn't possible, because it is easily doable with the official CDs or the legacy installer which you can download from Blizzard if you have registered your CD keys on battle.net. Install Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne from your CDs as normal.
Reforged is a forced downgrade for classic users. Now on to how to setup the old client. Find a download of Warcraft 3. (pastebin below) I won’t link any downloads, however its not hard to find (just google warcraft 3 download). There are a bunch of ways to get it, whether it be direct download, torrenting, etc.
Hey so I saw the new WarCraft 3 Reforged trailer... aaaaand its crap. But still I wanted to play the OG version using my old keys. But when I downloaded the client for WC3 and Frozen Throne, Blizzard proceeded to bullshit me by giving me the Reforged version (which I haven´t even bought because lame.

Dragonhawk Rider base damage increased from 17 to 19. Flame Strike channel time reduced from 0.9 to 0.8 seconds.
