Harris Dining Hall – also known simply as Harris Hall- was named after Andrew Lintner Harris and was one of the many dining facilities located on the campus at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Since 1961, it was the main all-you-can-eat dining hall for undergraduate students who live on the southern side of the campus.

They created 9 food stations, 4 themed interior dining areas, a formal dining area, and an outdoor café (Ogden Hall). This new addition cost $6,103,444.00 and the projects contractor was Wright Seyferth. The building is currently used as a dining hall and a residence hall for freshman students. [1]

Elliott was a professor at Miami University between 1849 and 1863. He was a professor of Logic and Greek Language and Literature. He received his education from a number of schools including Lafayette College, Ohio University, Hanover College, and Princeton Theological Seminary. He died in 1892 at the age of 77. [6]
