All six series have been released in Region 1, 2, and 4. In 2010, four years after the release of series 5, series 6 was released on Region 2, along with a box set of series 1–6. The ninth episode of series 3, "The Waiting Game", was omitted from early Region 2 series 3 DVDs and all the Region 4 (Australian) DVD releases.
He first appeared in the BBC drama series Ballykissangel (1998) before making his film debut in the drama film The War Zone (1999). He broke out into Hollywood as the lead in Tigerland (2000). He would go on to star in Phone Booth (2002), S.W.A.T., and The Recruit (both 2003), establishing himself as a box office draw.

Hope Island is an American drama series that originally aired on PAX TV from September 12, 1999, until April 3, 2000. It was based on Ballykissangel, a popular Irish drama created by Kieran Prendiville that aired on BBC One.
Victoria Smurfit (born 31 March 1974) is an Irish actress. She is known for playing Orla O'Connell in the BBC television series Ballykissangel, Detective Chief Inspector Roisin Connor in the ITV police procedural Trial & Retribution and Cruella de Vil in Once Upon a Time for which she was nominated as Best Supporting Actress in 13th IFTA Film & Drama Awards in 2016.
After Ballykissangel, she mostly worked in theatre and took smaller roles in TV productions. She is also a well-known voice on BBC Radio 4, having played policewoman Tina Mahon in the first four series of Baldi. In the first episode of Series 4, "All Bar One", a road sign bearing the name of the town is clearly visible, and reads "Baile Coisc Aingil" in the Irish, and "BALLYKISSANGEL" in the English. (In fact, there are several such signs in the opening scenes, one of which fills the frame.)
Following Cracker he returned to the BBC in a part specially written for him, as Sean Dillon in Ballykissangel. [3] In 2001 he starred in the short-lived drama series McCready and Daughter , taking on a role originally intended for his former Ballykissangel co-star, Tony Doyle , who died shortly before the series was due to be filmed.
