Manchester is a city in Delaware Township and the county seat of Delaware County, Iowa, United States. The population was 5,065 at the time of the 2020 census . [ 3 ] [ 4 ] Manchester is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 20 and State Highway 13 and is the largest community in Delaware County.
Across the road from where the house was located are the remnants of barns built in 1849. They were the first frame barns in the Delaware County. [2] The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. [1] In 2017, the Stagecoach House was in the process of being dismantled.
