Rather than being beholden to one cuisine, our focus is on providing delicious, rustic, fun food to our guests. We’ve provided some recent menus below, but since we’re a seasonal restaurant, expect them to change (almost) as frequently as the weather.
Our concept and our dining room are rustic and casual – come as you are – but with an ever-present eye for quality, creativity, and fun. So congrats to our entire team on the honor — and congratulations, too, to those many other Detroit area chefs and restaurants who garnered JBF nods. Selden Standard was named a 2024 semifinalist for the James Beard Foundation's Outstanding Restaurant in the United States.
In the wake of the recent announcement of inclusion on the James Beard semi-finalist list for Outstanding Restaurant, the Metro Times was kind enough to chat with us as we enter our tenth year. They did a nice job encapsulating the many developments in our area of Detroit since Selden Standard opened in 2014.
Selden Standard can host a variety of events for 10 to 30 people. Facilities include a large semi-private table in the main dining room, an outdoor patio, and a private dining room with A/V gear. Our events manager will be happy to work with you on a custom menu from our seasonal offerings.
