Toyota Canada does not hold up their end of warranty! My $60k vehicle is still within the first 3 year warranty. However, not only is the seal of my sunroof tore, but the side panel is gapping. Warranty won't cover as it's a panel replacement, not a clip replacement.

Also Toyota gave my Tacoma when it was pretty well used a brand new frame under a recall. I'm confident in Toyota rectifying any REAL issues that may arise. That truck was an 05 which was the first year of that update and that truck was perfectly reliable. All opinions either way, do your own research. Edit: spelling
The Toyota RAV4 is a terrific car that doesn't seem to fit into any one category. Is it a crossover? Wagon? SUV? All of the above? Toyota Canada has stopped issuing compliance letters for import from Canada to USA. This obviously negatively impacts Toyota owners and likely makes little difference to Toyota Canada. As a community we should all let Toyota know that this is unacceptable - the more ppl who write in the better.
My free year of Toyota Connect Services is about to expire, and in hindsight, I didn't take advantage of any of the features, so I won't renew. As dakotamdm said, I also question whether the Remote Connect benefit is worth it (I'm OCD and like to make sure my vehicle is locked at all times).
Had mine since November, no complaints. Currently driving around Flagstaff AZ, Grand Canyon, Sedona etc etc and gunning it going uphill to pass campers and such, no issues. Quick to respond even uphill. Handles the switchbacks easily too. My daughter still got car sick though. 🤷🏻♀️
Ok good to know and thanks for the insight. Yeah no heavy duty towing in my future. At most I’d occasionally be pulling a wave runner, bike rack, or light duty trailer no more 2000lb total weight. Toyota says the hybrid can tow up to 3500lb but I’d be nervous to push it that hard.
