John Paul Densmore (born December 1, 1944) is an American musician. He is best known as the drummer of the rock band the Doors and as such is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. [1]
Both Krieger and Densmore believe that the Doors’ debut album from 1967 and their fast, loose last record with Jim Morrison, 1971’s “L.A. Woman,” were their band’s finest recordings.
Before The End, put together by Doors superfan Jeff Finn, was released this week on Apple TV+ and other streaming platforms. Morrison died suddenly in Paris in 1971, aged 27, from heart failure.
