Hi Duk Lee (July 29, 1939 – March 7, 2019) was a Korean-born American businessman. He owned more than 40 businesses in Koreatown, Los Angeles , including Korean grocery stores, restaurants and a hotel.
Kwonsooksoo (Korean: 권숙수) is a fine dining Korean restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. [1] The restaurant opened in July 2015, and received two Michelin stars in the 2017 Michelin guide. Lee moved to the United States in 1989, with her husband and children. She was founder of the popular BCD Tofu House chain of Korean restaurants, [2] named for the Buk Chang Dong neighborhood of Seoul, where her husband's mother had a restaurant.
