Re: Web shield blocks many sites across multiple browsers. Avast is able to detect and decrypt TLS/SSL protected traffic in our Web-content filtering component. To detect malware and threats on HTTPS sites, Avast must remove the SSL certificate and add its self-generated certificate.

The issue Bob speaks of is what is it that you are trying to get help with, not that you are trying to get a support telephone number for. In isolation this topic looks somewhat strange.
