André Cymone (born Andre Simon Anderson; June 27, 1958) is an American bassist, songwriter and record producer. He was a bass guitarist for Prince 's touring band, pre- Revolution . [ 2 ] In 1981, Cymone broke from Prince's band and began a solo career.
Her debut solo studio album, titled Jody Watley, was released in March 1987, and she co-wrote six of the album's nine songs with partner André Cymone, who also produced her first four albums.
