The Aaron Ferrey House, also known as the Winan Snyder House, was a historic structure located at 5058 Sunnybrook Road in the southern part of Kent, Ohio, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 13, 1974.

A post office called Carpenter was established in 1883, and remained in operation until 1963. [3] The community was named for one of three prominent Carpenter men who were natives of the area, Amos Carpenter, Sr., an old resident, or Jesse C. Carpenter, or State Senator J. L. Carpenter, who facilitated railroad access and a railroad station for the town.
