Vũ Thị Hương (born October 7, 1986, in Định Hóa, Thái Nguyên) is a track and field sprint athlete who competes internationally for Vietnam. [1]Huong (she is referred to by her first name Huong, as is the custom in Vietnam) won the silver medal in women's 100m event and the bronze medal in women's 200m event at the 2007 Asian Athletics Championship in Amman, Jordan.
[2] [3] She also captured two silver medals in the 53 and 59 kg classes at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar, and at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, losing out to South Korea's Lee Sung-Hye and Thailand's Sarita Phongsri, respectively. Trần Hiếu Ngân (born June 26, 1974 in Tuy Hòa, Phú Yên) [1] is a Vietnamese Taekwondo athlete who competed in the Women's 49-57 kg weight class at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and she won the silver medal. It was the only Vietnamese medal during the 2000 Summer Olympics, and their first of five Olympic medals. [2]
