The Interstate with the longest segment in Alabama is Interstate 65, covering 367.00 miles (590.63 km); the shortest is Interstate 359, covering 2.30 miles (3.70 km). The road continued south of US 90 as Baldwin County Route 27 (CR 27) and served many rural areas and local interests in SW Baldwin County. AL-48 begins in the eastern part of the city and leads east 16 mi (26 km) to Wedowee.
The highway begins at the Alabama state line in Lincoln County, just north of Hazel Green, Alabama, where it enters the state concurrent with SR 10 and US 431.They then go north through farmland and countryside and have an intersection with SR 275 before going through Park City (where the highway passes by Fayetteville Municipal Airport) and crossing a ridge into Fayetteville.

State Route 25 (SR 25) is a 257.352-mile-long (414.168 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Alabama. From U.S. Route 78 (US 78) in Leeds northeast to its terminus at the Georgia state line, SR 25 is the unsigned partner route of US 411. The southwestern terminus of SR 25 is at its intersection with SR 5 near Pine Hill in Wilcox County.
