Love Letter is a card game introduced in May 2012 and designed by Seiji Kanai. [1] Its first English-language edition was produced in the United States by Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG) until 2018, when Love Letter was acquired by Z-Man Games (a subsidiary of Asmodee ).
Each player is given a drawing book and a marker. At the start of each round, every player is given a card with a list of secret words, each with a number between one and six. One player rolls a die to determine which word each player will draw. The players then have sixty seconds to draw their word or phrase on page one of their drawing book.
Using Voting Wheels, all players secretly vote for the drawing they feel best fits the category by turning the wheel to the color that matches the chip on their chosen drawing. When all players have finished voting, the Voting Wheels are revealed simultaneously. The player whose drawing receives the majority of the votes keeps the Category card.
