Description: This map shows the incorporated and unincorporated areas in Fulton County, Georgia. Atlanta is highlighted in red.. It was created with a custom script with US Census Bureau data and modified with Inkscape.
English: The map on the left is my own work, created by manually tracing the official Fulton County map and compiling the shapes in Inkscape. This map is based off the work of Arkyan and Ixnayonthetimmay, who made previous versions that I wanted to update to reflect the new city boundaries as of 2020.

The land, which was owned by Fulton County, was previously leased to Vulcan Materials. Atlanta is the largest city in Fulton County, occupying the county's narrow center section and thus geographically dividing the county's northern and southern portions. Atlanta's last major annexation in 1952 brought over 118 square miles (310 km 2 ) into the city, including the affluent suburb of Buckhead .
