Cartoon Network is a pan-Asian television channel that primarily broadcasts animated series. Operated by Warner Bros. Discovery under its International division, the channel is broadcast from its headquarters in Singapore and Jakarta, Indonesia to audiences in its country of location, as well as to Hong Kong and several areas in the Asian continent.
The channel would close on 1 January 2015, with Boomerang relaunched as part of the 2015 global rebrand. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] As part of Cartoonito's 2021 relaunch, the brand returned to Asia as a block on Cartoon Network and Boomerang in March and May 2022 respectively; the block shifted to Boomerang full-time in November.
