Thakurmar Jhuli (Bengali: ঠাকুরমার ঝুলি; Grandmother's Bag [of tales]) is a collection of Bengali folk tales and fairy tales. The author Dakshinaranjan Mitra Majumder collected some folktales of Bengali and published some of them under the name of "Thakurmar Jhuli" in 1907 (1314 of Bengali calendar).

A film Shesher Kabita, adaptation of the book, was released in 2013. It was directed by Suman Mukhopadhyay and starred Konkona Sen Sharma as Labannya and Rahul Bose as Amit Ray. Choritrohin (English: Debauched) is a 1917 novel by Bengali novelist Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay.It tells a story of Sabitri, a beautiful (subjective) woman and widow, who has been thrown out from her husband's home by her in-laws driven to work as a maidservant in a youth hostel, where she falls in love with her master.
The book was made into the well-received 2001 film with the same title, starring Raisul Islam Asad. [4] The film was directed and produced by Tanvir Mokammel. In 2003, the film earned eight Bangladesh National Film Awards, including the Best Film. [5]
