  2. difference between tc encore and encore pro hunter?

    www.indianasportsman.com/threads/difference-between-tc-encore-and-encore-pro...

There is no question that the TC is a proven warrior, and to be honest, I have never shouldered a muzzle loader that feels as sweet to hold and fire as the encore. The elite is a little heavier and bulkier, but still a nice gun, and one of my best investments. Reply Like. J.

I may regret it, but I sold that gun in favor of a Thompson/Center Encore in 20 gauge with a Leupold 2-7x. Will hit the range this week with the T/C to see how she performs (I have the Winchester rounds you are shooting, as well as some Lightfields and Buckhammers to try for accuracy).

What is everyone shooting out there for their frontstuffers? I use a Knight Wolverine with 90 grains of pyrodex rs with a hornady 245 grain Jacketed hollow point. Scoped with a tasco 3-9x32mm puts about a 1 inch group at 100 yards.

I just got a new Thompson Center Triumph muzzleloader from Cabela's and had a Nikon Omega BDC scope mounted on it. This is my first deer gun with a scope and I wanted to have see through scope rings so that I could use barrell sights for short range shots, since most of my opportunities seem...
