Arashiyama Bamboo Grove (a.k.a. the Sagano Bamboo Forest) The Iwatayama Monkey Park on the slopes of Arashiyama. Over 170 monkeys live at the park. While the monkeys are wild, they have become accustomed to humans. The park is on a small mountain not far from the Saga-Arashiyama rail station. Visitors can approach and photograph the monkeys.

Iwatayama Monkey Park (Japanese: 嵐山モンキーパーク, Arashiyama Monkī Pāku) is a commercial park located in Arashiyama in Kyoto, Japan. The park is located atop Mount Arashiyama, on the opposite side of the Ōi River of the train station. It is inhabited by a troop of over 120 Japanese macaque monkeys. [1]
It is about 2.3 miles (3.7 km) south of Kawaihae, Hawaii. [4] A part of the Ala Kahakai National Historic Trail runs through the park from Spencer Beach to the north, to Puako to the south. [5] Hāpuna beach has lifeguards, but can be hazardous during high surf conditions since the beach is not protected from the open ocean.
Volcano House is the name of a series of historic hotels built at the edge of Kīlauea, within the grounds of Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park on the Island of Hawai'i. The original 1877 building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and now houses the Volcano Art Center. The hotel in use today was built in 1941 and expanded in 1961.
