Bank Alfalah Limited (Urdu: بینک الفلاح لمیٹڈ), formerly known as Habib Credit and Exchange Bank, is a Pakistani commercial bank headquartered in Karachi. It is a subsidiary of an Emirati conglomerate, Abu Dhabi United Group .

Habib Bank Limited (Urdu pronunciation: [ha.ˈbiːb bɛŋk] hah-BEEB-BANK) is a Pakistani commercial bank based at Habib Bank Plaza, Karachi. It is a subsidiary of Swiss-based organisation Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development. Established in 1941 by the Habib Family, it is one of the oldest banks of Pakistan.
It owns Bank Alfalah, Warid Telecom, Wateen Telecom, Taavun and many more in Pakistan. He is also Founder Chairman of Bank Alfalah. Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan is also recipient of Pakistan's highest civilian award, the Hilal-e-Pakistan, which was conferred upon him by the President of Pakistan in 2005.

The Institute of Bankers was registered on the 6 February 1973 as an association under the Societies Registration Act, 1660 (Act No. XXI of 1660). [2] Before that some eminent bankers and other professionals decided, in a meeting held on 26 July 1972, to establish the institute as a professional body of banks and financial institutions in Bangladesh.
