If they carry the tree to your car and help tie it on to the roof, give them a nice tip. If they just wrap it and give you the tree it's dealers choice. If they put it on the car for my I give them $10/$20, I don't know if that's high or low.
Of course, that is NOT the time to buy one, lesson learned. You want a tree that has both the highest number of branches as well as lights. You could literally make a chart comparing them and if an online listing does not state the branch or light number, skip it. In addition to what others are saying, google up "viral artificial christmas tree."

The tree is just a random young tree cut from outside although drawing trees like this is not my strong point, I didn't add many decorations as I don't know where they would get them. Anyways merry Christmas and have a great day.
