It runs from Jersey Ridge Road to the Bettendorf city limits, and from River Drive to Middle Road. Four hundred houses make up the McClellan Heights neighborhood, dating from 1905 to 1940. [ 1 ] The land is made up of many hills and ravines; the streets follow the topography, requiring many winding roads and odd-shaped lots. [ 1 ]
It is roughly defined as the area between the Mississippi River, Spring, Judson, and 13th Streets, Kirkwood Boulevard and Jersey Ridge Road. The historic district was started as an independent community and became a part of the city of Davenport within five years. Today it is a shopping and entertainment area.

A Stewart's Drive-In in Tuckerton, New Jersey, which has been in continuous operation since the 1970s The first Stewart's Drive-In was opened by Frank Stewart in 1924 Mansfield, Ohio. Stewart opened up a small stand to make extra money in the summer to supplement his income as a school teacher.
It was named after Davenport, Iowa. [5] In 1887, the village was officially incorporated. In 1888, North Western Railroad also built a line through the village. Two railroad lines with passenger and freight service brought much business to the village and helped support several hotels. [6] The public school was established in 1877.
Davenport—Where the Mississippi Runs West reported on the first two phases and Davenport Architecture—Tradition and Transition reported on the third phase. A Multiple Resource nomination was submitted to the National Register of Historic Places that included 12 districts, more than 1,650 buildings on 350 parcels.
