Gregory Sierra's best performance was of course in "The Hero", and I'm sorry he never had another signature episode like that again. Through the magic of videos, DVDs and syndicated reruns, I have seen him in many different roles.
LAGUNA WOODS- Laguna Woods Village resident and former "Barney Miller" television actor Gregory Sierra makes a return to the stage in the Old Pros' production of "See How They Run" on Nov. 20. In your case, it's been 17 years and in Gregory's it's over 30 (it happened either in late 1977 or early 1978) but that has to scar someone for a lifetime.
Gregory Sierra played a member of the Hebrew Defense Association who offered the Bunkers protection after a group of anti-Semitic thugs had painted a giant swastika on their front door. (He was ultimately killed by the same group of thugs.) Later, Art
I don't remember the show AES Hudson Street. It probably didn't last long. I remember in the late 70s Gregory Sierra was added to the show "Sanford and Son" as a new character. The role he played was Julio and was a friend of Lamont. Fred didn't like Julio and Julio's goat. I can't remember why Julio owned a goat. That was the last I have seen ...
