    The in-flight entertainment for example, EVA has more dated systems. It has smaller screens that require remotes to operate. They are laggy when browsing through titles. I can't tell if Starlux are more snappy, but it does appear to have larger touch* screens in comparison.

You can get it for 75,000 miles one way if there's saver level pricing. Pros. new, modern plane. huge TV with HD touchscreen. great seats with door.

    Eva is star alliance and China airlines is skyteam. You get better cross-airline benefits (lounges, rewards, pricing, etc). For me my primary airline is United so it’s Eva for me. I can use united status for Eva reward tickets and their taoyuan/songshan lounges. Edit: corrected oneworld to skyteam.
