You can use dripstone with lava on top and let it drip into a cauldron - then over time the cauldron will fill up with lava and you will have yourself an infinite lava source. 3. mbreach. • 2 yr. ago. Do it if you want. I think you're missing 18 steps between 4 and 5. r/restofthefuckingowl. Step 1: Foundation. Step 2: Build the rest of the farm. Misread the title and thought "I didn't know you can farm water buckets now." This is beautiful. oh, and the water bucket thing also great :D. Brings back good memories of the time before we had ...

All this misses an important fact: crops don't actually need water (other than sugar cane), they just grow much slower in dry farmland. Also the farmland tries to revert to dirt much quicker so you need to till 1 square, plant, till 1 square, plant, etc ...
Here's a tutorial for that nether portal technique speedrunners are always doing. Archived post. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. also note sometimes the lava will only be 1 block deep, so it wont always form the bottom 2 blocks of obsidian. if that happens just break the blocks where the obsidian should be and place lava ...
