Vincennes Velvets. The Vincennes Velvets was the final moniker of the minor league baseball teams based in Vincennes, Indiana, United States. From 1950 to 1952, Vincennes played as members of the Class D level Mississippi–Ohio Valley League, which evolved to become today's Midwest League. The 1951 team was known as the "Citizens."
