Pennsylvania Route 44 (PA 44) is a 149.24 mi (240.18 km)-long state highway in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.The route, which is signed north-south, is designated from Interstate 80 (I-80) and PA 42 in Buckhorn northwest to the New York state line near New York State Route 417 (NY 417) in Ceres Township.
Buckhorn is a community in Pulaski County, Missouri, United States. [1] It is on Route 17 just south of its junction with Interstate 44 It is also on historic U.S. Route 66 . The community is within the Mark Twain National Forest and the northwest corner of Fort Leonard Wood is three miles to the east.
By 2000, most of the road had been rebuilt to meet modern standards. I-80 westbound past PA 33 in Bartonsville. In response to Act 44, which requires the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) to provide funding to PennDOT for transportation projects, in June 2007, the PTC proposed tolling I-80 as a means of raising revenue.
The road heads northwest before turning to the north, continuing through dense forests. PA 42 passes through wooded areas with a few homes, curving more to the northeast and becoming Eagles Mere Avenue. Buckhorn is an unincorporated community in southeastern Madison County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1] The community is located on Missouri Route M at the location where the West, Middle and East forks of Big Creek converge. The site is approximately 1.5 miles north of the Madison-Wayne county line.
