State Road 399 (SR 399) is a state road in Santa Rosa County, Florida. Although it only extends 0.319 miles (0.513 km) from U.S. Route 98 (US 98) to the Bob Sikes Bridge, County Road 399 (CR 399) continues over the bridge, along Santa Rosa Island, and back to US 98 via the Navarre Bridge. Other segments of CR 399 also exist on the mainland.

U.S. Route 98 (US 98) is an east–west United States Highway in the Southeastern United States that runs from western Mississippi to southern Florida.It was established in 1933 as a route between Pensacola and Apalachicola, Florida, and has since been extended westward into Mississippi and eastward across the Florida Peninsula.
Interstate 110 (I-110) is a 6.341-mile (10.205 km) auxiliary route of the Interstate Highway System in Pensacola, Florida, extending north from U.S. Route 98 (US 98) to I-10. I-110 carries the hidden Florida Department of Transportation designation of State Road 8A .
The Florida Department of Transportation annual average daily traffic (AADT) numbers for 2012 show average numbers between 5,600 vehicles on the southern portion of the road, decreasing to 4,300 vehicles around Walnut Hill, and again increasing to 5,000 north of Walnut Hill, back to 5,600 vehicles at the road's northern terminus.
It turns north onto SR 295 and the two routes head north together for a short distance. Both SR 173 and SR 295 direct traffic to Naval Air Station Pensacola, which lies three miles (4.8 km) south of the intersection of US 98 and SR 295. [3] US 98 enters Pensacola after traversing a short bridge across Bayou Chico.
The road starts at the intersection of the Eau Gallie Causeway (SR 518) and Riverside Drive/South Patrick Drive, with SR 518 starting north on South Patrick Drive, through a mix of commercial and residential areas, staying within a few blocks of the Banana River. The road enters Satellite Beach, and intersects CR 3 (Banana River Drive).
