The Richmondshire Concerts take place in Richmond, North Yorkshire. The society (officially Richmondshire Subscription Concerts) was founded in 1947 [1] [2] by Tom Carr, and is a registered charity. In 2018 they performed the award-winning new play This Is Yorkshire and in 2019 they premiered a new adaptation of an Oscar Wilde classic titled Dorian Gray. The Youth Theatre was commissioned by English Heritage to perform new work at Richmond Castle for the centenary of Armistice Day on 11 November 2018 as part of "Richmond Remembers".

Marske is a village and civil parish in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England in lower Swaledale on the boundary of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, 5 miles (8 km) west of Richmond. At the 2011 Census, the population of the parish, including New Forest, was 127. It includes the hamlets of Applegarth, Clints, Feldom and Skelton.
