    My Spectrum router is a SAC2V1A and only has one network name. Does that mean I can’t manually change from 2.4 gHz to 5 gHz? I can’t use any of my smart devices because they run on 2.4 gHz and I think but am not sure my router is running right now on 5gHz.

    IR (Infer-red )- Traditional Remote, where you point at the box to control the box. Traditional IR responses work with the old Clikr Backlite remotes when paired with world boxes except for the following: B-button search does not bring up the keyboard search shortcut. It does however, bring up category options when the guide is opened.

  4. September 2020. @ Renee_T No it does not tell you if it is connected to 2.4G or 5G. After you tap the device the only two options left are Edit Device Name and View Device Info. When you go to View Device Info the only information you get is your IP Address, Hostname, MAC Address, and Connection Type.

    Wait for the online light on the modem to come on and then reboot the router in the same manner. Allow a few minutes for it to finish rebooting before testing the app. I have swapped out the hdmi cable which has had no effect on the audio sync issue. I do apologize but I was incorrect in my description of the issue.

Any management of other advanced router settings would be done by logging into spectrum.net or through the My Spectrum App. Settings cannot be accessed by attempting to log in to the router directly by IP.
