Kawaki and Sasuke struggle to fight back as Momoshiki reveals his plan to kidnap Kawaki and steal Isshiki's Ten Tails. However, Boruto manages to regain control when Kawaki forces Momoshiki to absorb chakra. After the battle Kurama bids farewell to Naruto and vanishes, with the last of his chakra having been consumed by Baryon Mode.
With Naruto's new power, Baryon Mode, he delays Isshiki as long as possible. After Baryon Mode runs out, Isshiki quickly overpowers Naruto and finds Kawaki due to the chakra of Naruto's prosthetic arm before teleporting him nearby, but due to lack of life time caused by Baryon Mode, Isshiki dies.
Kurama reveals that Baryon Mode consumes their life force until it runs out and that Naruto must avoid doing or thinking anything unnecessary. Isshiki tries to crush Naruto with cubes, however, Naruto counters and send them back at Isshiki, who fires enlarged rods but Naruto avoids them and knocks Isshiki around.
Sasuke unveils his plan, made with Boruto, as the latter uses his Karma to teleport Isshiki to another dimension. Furious, Isshiki effortlessly beats Naruto and gravely injures Sasuke, before maiming Boruto. After attempting to kidnap Boruto to use for his plan, Naruto arrives, in the Baryon Mode and fights on even terms with Isshiki.
