In 1984, TSR gained the license to make a role-playing game based on Indiana Jones, [2] and released The Adventures of Indiana Jones Role-Playing Game the same year. Over the next two years, TSR supported the game with six adventures, the first being IJ1 Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Adventure Pack, followed by IJ2 Raiders of the Lost Ark Adventure Pack the same year.

Adventurers Guild was a closed-end, computer-moderated, role-playing play-by-mail (PBM) game. It was available as early as mid-1990 by the publisher, Entertainment Plus More, Inc. Multiple reviewers thought it similar to the PBM game Duelmasters ( Duel2 as of 2023), while reviewer Gordon Blair thought it better than similar games.
The Adventurers' Guild is a guild that mainly accepts dungeon orders. The guild headquarters used to be the S-class dungeon Fortress of Ashes before being cleared by Silver Sword led by Glenn.
