Reese Wynans (born November 28, 1947) is an American keyboard player, who has done session work and has been a member of Double Trouble [1] and progressive rock band Captain Beyond. In 2015, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Double Trouble.

Captain Beyond is an American rock supergroup formed in Los Angeles in 1971. [3] [4] Consisting of former Deep Purple singer Rod Evans, former Johnny Winter drummer Bobby Caldwell, former Iron Butterfly guitarist Larry Reinhardt and former Iron Butterfly bassist Lee Dorman, the band had an eclectic style bridging elements of hard rock, progressive rock and jazz fusion with space rock. Wynans had previously been a member of Delbert McClinton's band and had also played with Jerry Jeff Walker. He began touring with Vaughan and Double Trouble in June.
