Spackenkill (/ ˈ s p æ k ən ˌ k ɪ l /) is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Dutchess County, New York, United States.The population was 4,123 at the 2010 census. [2] It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area.

Its eastern terminus is at a junction with NY 376 in the Poughkeepsie hamlet of Red Oaks Mill. NY 113 is known as Spackenkill Road for the majority of its length. Spackenkill Road was initially maintained by Dutchess County. Jurisdiction of the highway was transferred to the state of New York in 1980, at which time it was designated NY 113.
