Or creating a template using word or another word processor that can create superscripts and using that to create a template for the iPad Pages app.
118,036 points. Apr 19, 2007 6:37 AM in response to red_viking. I don't think you can make these from the keyboard. Use the Character Palette (Edit > Special Characters), Unicode numbers 00B2 and 00B3. Or try Format > Font > Baseline > Superscript.

I cannot find the code anywhere. For a round diameter, I always use ALT 0216 but I cannot find the code for the square diameter (a strike thru a square instead of a strike thru a circle). I want to use the symbol for dimensioning either a square HSS or a square plate. Thank you

Mu symbol not displaying as "M" or a square box. Hello, I am having an issue with a project that requires the "Mu" symbol. For some reason, it only displays as a "M" or a square box, depending on which symbol I choose. I've done some digging and apparently it may be due to some missing .SHX files.
