The Fraser Valley is a geographical region in southwestern British Columbia, Canada and northwestern Washington State.It starts just west of Hope in a narrow valley encompassing the Fraser River and ends at the Pacific Ocean stretching from the North Shore Mountains, opposite the city of Vancouver BC, to just south of Bellingham, Washington.
Dunbar–Southlands is a neighbourhood situated on the western side of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, that stretches north from the Fraser River and covers most of the land between the mouth of the Fraser and English Bay. This neighbourhood consists of many commercial and residential areas that mostly consists of single-family dwellings.
British Columbia is customarily divided into three main regions, the Interior, the Coast and the Lower Mainland (though the last-named is technically part of the Coast). Lougheed Highway is an alternative route to the Trans-Canada, entering Coquitlam via Maillardville, continuing north to Coquitlam Centre before turning sharply east through Port Coquitlam and then into Pitt Meadows via the Pitt River Bridge.
