Prior to the school's opening in 1972, the township's students had attended Merchantville High School in neighboring Camden County for 40 years. With the loss of Maple Shade students, the Merchantville School District closed its high school after the end of the 1971–72 school year and started sending its students to Pennsauken High School for grades nine through twelve.

Marysville Getchell High School is a public high school in Marysville, Washington, United States.It is part of the Marysville School District.. The campus has a capacity of 1,600 students and was originally organized into four "small learning communities", however, starting in the 2019-2020 school year, the school instead operates with no separation between the four schools.

During the 2011–12 school year, 1,181 students were enrolled in the school. There are around 69 faculty members, giving the school a 17.07 student/teacher ratio. The 2020-2021 Competition Cheerleading team won the AAA State Championship at the Macon Coliseum on February 16, 2021. The team is coached by Kyle Ward.
