Sui Ishida is best known for his dark fantasy series Tokyo Ghoul, a story about a young man named Ken Kaneki who gets transformed into a ghoul after encountering one. The series then ran from 2011 to 2014 in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine, and was later adapted into a light novel and anime series in 2014.
After the murder of the model Margaret by Shuu Tsukiyama, a murderous ghoul with epicurean desires, Tsukiyama arrives at Anteiku and approaches Ken Kaneki. Tsukiyama befriends Kaneki, and desires to eat him. Tsukiyama invites Kaneki to the ghoul restaurant, where Kaneki is captured, to be consumed by other ghouls.
The story features Shuu Tsukiyama the "Gourmet" during his high school years and Chie Hori. They meet when she photographs Tsukiyama killing a jogger and then about to eat him because of the tone of his body. She being uninterested anything that takes her interest.
Some time later, the CCG discovers that Shuu's entire family and conglomerate is led by ghouls and stages a massive operation to take them down. In the occasion, Shuu ends up being pursued by no other than Sasaki, who knows that the ghoul holds the answers about his past.
