For all you overachivers who check your email from home, I just saw on the portal that they've changed the Outlook Webmail URL to https://owa.us.af.mil/ if you're accessing it from a home computer.     Cant access Web Mail - Help! I tried for 3 hours last night to access https://webmail.apps.mil to check on some email and keep getting the following message after I type in my USAF address. I have updated and removed certs. Installed Active Client and used Root Kit. Unplugged CAC Reader and plugged it back in. Same with my CAC card.

    It'll take a while to "find" everything once you type in your @us.af.mil address and hit next, mine took ~8-10 min on non air force network to connect but now it's just like normal email when I open outlook. Try going to office.com and logging in there. Just put in your air force email and have your CaC in the machine.

    You should be able to go to https://andrews.mail.us.af.mil/owa/ and if you aren't in the Andrews APC, it should re-direct you to the correct APC. Also, if you are using a USAF laptop joined to the AFNET, you will have E-mail access via Outlook as long as you have internet connectivity. Outlook will connect in to Exchange via Outlook Anywhere ...

    OP, if you didn't find it google mail.mil OWA it come right up and youc an just click in. That's NOT USAF webmail, if you want that PM me and I'll get it to you. Or google it and it will also come up. Not true. Just go to the most commonly searched links where MyPers, TBA, vMPF, AMS, etc is listed.

    Then, restart the browser. Click the 3 dots and Go to Extensions. Go to the S/MIME extension. Click Details. Click Extension Options. 2 Boxes are checked. In the Add Domains box, add external.mail.af.mil. Works like a Champ For me! Additionally, you can install that Edge browser site as an App now, and then just double-click on that to open it up.

    Use https://afrcdesktops.us.af.mil as your server. Use the Authentication certificate to login. Once logged in, double click “Desktop Anywhere Desktop”. Once that is all finished getting setup, you should be able to use it normally like any AF standard NIPR computer and you can setup Outlook to login into your AF email. 1.
