AOL Mail POP and IMAP settings Most email software and applications have an account settings menu where you'll need to update the IMAP or POP3 settings. When entering your account info, make sure you use your full email address, including @aol.com, and that the SSL encryption is enabled for incoming and outgoing mail.
In Mail on Mac, click Mail and then choose Settings from the menu. Select your AOL Mail account from the account list. Select the Server Settings tab. Delete and re-enter your AOL account password from the Password fields under the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server sections. Click Save.
